Clubbing everyone who is someway involved with opensource or as some free option is misleading. Today – it is well known that in areas with next to zero distribution costs – you get more via giving away something free to get the user hooked on rather than charge for it.
The real question is that will the phase-customer-in and charge as insurance policy model of open source really work.
