I've been following MindView (formerly OpenMind) for some time now, and I agree - this is a significant upgrade ever to the program. Other advantages I see include SharePoint integration, dynamic icons and the ability to seriously customize export formats (may some some time when exporting large maps to MS Word!). Here are my first impressions of it.

I have used a similiar product in the past and I can say when it comes to application developement a good piece of mindmap software is very valuable. I used to be one of those "I can do it all in my head no problem" people, but once I gave putting ideas down on [digital] paper its amazing how many pitfalls you can avoid in application development.

This applies equally as well to just about any web work in my experience.
