Maybe you were wondering how that REDFLY PC Software was actually going to look on a PC. Celio just dropped this in our Inbox, so as our sworn CES duty to you, we’re sharing it. It’s a window… in Windows… on a PC. ;) Simple but useful if you’re a power-user with bunches of Windows Mobile apps. With REDFLY’s software, you can score some extra use out of them without hurting your thumbs and eyes.

  1. That’s cool and all, but I’d rather stick to the free version called MyMobiler. It does exactly the same thing, besides changing the Res….you can zoom and make the screen bigger though, and use your computer mouse and keyboard, so functionally the usability is there. Still, if this device was $20 I may think about it in passing.

  2. I already own a Redfly and have their software on my Windows Mobile device. So, assuming that the Windows desktop software will work with the same Redfly software already on my device, for me this is better than MyMobiler because it won’t require installing another program on my Windows Mobile device.

I also curious about how well the Windows software will run on Netbooks.

  3. I actually excited. I’d rather by a netbook than a redfly anyway.

  4. You can also use the free EveryWAN Remote Support to do just what RedFly does. If you need to edit a Word document, just tranfer it onto the PC for editing inside of Windows version of Office….
