ZigBee looks to have won the battle, based on the strength of the protocol, being a true open standard, and with multi-vendor supplier support. Zensys claims shipping > 1Mu shipped in ’08? ZigBee/IEEE 802.15.4 is estimated to be at least 10x that amount in ’08, and on a steep ramp upward.
