Not quite in the same league as the top ten mentioned, but I stumbled across this game (Cloudy Flight) today: http://www.cloudyflight.com

A very simplistic concept but quite fun and addictive to play, managed to get over 3000 once, but it took quite a few attempts, interesting that there is no scoreboard available, this is a shame

Not to be a hater but, saying a list is the top 10 and only including one data point is a bit disingenuous. Mochi is only one piece of the greater Flash gaming ecosystem after all. If you’re going to just use the ad networks then yous should include numbers from Mochi’s siblings – Shizmoo and GameJacket. Additionally, there are quite a few very good Flash games that don’t use ads to monetize – Fantastic Contraption comes to mind.

As a full-time Linux user, I’m always on the lookout for games that don’t come in the form of zipped Windows executables, and Flash often fits the bill. Armor Games has become casual-game central for me, and IIRC they’re the ones who gave the GemCraft author the largest payout in that industry segment so far. Also worthy of mention is Dofus, one of the larger MMORPGs which comes in Flash form. Seeing that level of complexity and multi-player interaction in a Flash game certainly opened my eyes, and the sheer scale of the thing might well put it at the top of any “most popular” list.
