This is a widely telegraphed move by Cisco as they have emphasized video as the driver of the next growth wave of network traffic. Multi-format media processing is essential, but a key missing element from most solutions in the market is the use of “intelligent automation.” By that I mean not only providing templates for a given input to output, but automically selecting the correct one to optimize the experience.
