    That's on top of not having a setting to allow calls and SMS but switch off all the other net-dependent features.
    I don't want to take my phone abroad now :(
    BTW, didn't know it was possible strictly to *close* an app. Most don't have an exit option.

  2. Just unlock your phone and buy a sim-card in the country you are traveling to. It's not a big deal..wow people are dumb.

    It seems it's MyFaves on the USA phones that is data-roaming out of control, and TMo knows this. Currently, it seems the only solution is to get root, then instead off installing Jesus Frek's modded C30, install the modded UK version instead. This removes Myfaves completely.
