WiMAX had a 2-3 year head start over LTE, but this network has already suffered nearly 2 years of delays from Sprint's original plans. The economic slowdown may actually be a good thing, as I don't see AT&T and Verizon being in too big a hurry to upgrade to LTE before Clear has established itself as a valid competitor. The key will probably be mobile devices. They need something right off the bat that is as compelling as iPhone.</p> I just worry that they’ve already lost too much time.
