How much did Apple got paid for allowing these sort of ads on their store?
What about the useful application that got refused the distribution, just because it was ‘copying’ Apple future development that doesn’t exist yet.
Biased towards money speakers, and stealing good ideas from little developers?
Welcome to Evil town

of all ian fleming's james bond movies i've watched, i think quantum of solace is the weakest. but don't get me wrong, it's not that i did not enjoy watching it but the action scenes are rarely breath-taking. casino royale is better since bond's persoality is way too different from his other films. there he had committed to something which is not present in other films--love. and btw, i have already stored the dark knight in my ipod touch. i would'nt mind downloading quantum of solace from a Ipod Download Movies, that is if there's stillsapce left.

Quantum of Solace is entertaining at least; a lot of high quality visuals... but the movie as a whole could stand to lose six or seven fewer chase scenes

I don't quite understand why you correlate iPhone (or let's say it gadgets) movie themes with its disability in encouraging people to watch the movie (as 'obvious feature'). Some fans will love to hunt it and it's already another kind of profit for the film studios because they will also motivated to collect other things related with the movies (accessories, DVDs, etc.). Advertising in certain medias doesn't always store one profit goal.

"the Bond application lets you watch the movie trailers and read up about the movie"

...sounds like the blandest microsite possible to me.

"we are happy that they are thinking about ways to promote their movies on screens that matter" - you actively WANT to be advertised to with an app that actually doesn't do anything useful?
