I really like the Agent 18 case, the one time I didn't have it on my phone I dropped it and cracked the screen. Luckly I found http://www.iphone3gscreenrepair.com. They repaired my phone for only 69.99 and they had it back to me in just 2 days! I was very impressed! Apple wanted 199 for the same repair.

Marware’s Game Grip for iPhone 3G and iPod touch gives you a classic gaming feel that’ll be especially familiar to users of Microsoft’s SideWinder motion-sensing PC gaming controller.

...

The Game Grip is available now for $49.99.

Based on some quick Googling, I can get a sidewinder gamepad for about $8 to $18 bucks nowadays (depends on if it's the original USB or if it's the Pro model), or I could get the far superior Logitech gamepad or a XBOX360 Gamepad for Windows for $39.99.

Ultimately this is the problem with a lot of iPhone/iPod addons. They (sometimes arguably) add function to the product, but they're a complete ripoff.

Seriously, $50 for a plastic shell with a little bit of sillicone? I can get the same form factor with the same materials and -actual electronics- in it for less. I can't imagine the profit that would be made off of that product.

Not criticising you for putting it up or pointing it out or anything, it's a nifty idea that I'm sure will appeal to some people. But it's hard to argue that it's not a ripoff.
