While Kevin is off playing around working in Baltimore covering the WiMAX press event word has come out that the TU25 USB modem from ZTE has become the first USB WiMAX modem certified for use by the XOHM network.  There is no word on when the TU25 will be available nor how much it will set us back but it’s very nice to see a USB solution for all of those netbooks out there.

on a semi-related note, does anyone else have issue with the design of these USB devices? They seem to focus their weight and wear directly onto the USB connector. I have had about 7-10% (out of 300) either crack or develop faults on the USB connection.
