It appears the term "netbook" must be official with the report that Intel, maker of the Atom processor that appears in most mini-notebooks, has purchased the domain netbook.com. If you go to netbook.com it takes you to a page where Intel is promoting the Atom processor:

What I find amazing is that the netbook domain was free for grabbing, or if not I wonder how much Intel paid for it?

  1. What netbook do they have displayed there? The closest things it looks like is a Everun Note in blue…but I very much doubt that as that’s the very last thing it would be since it’s not technically a netbook, nor does it use a intel chip…what could the mystery netbook be?
