SketchUp was positioned as an easier 3D tool for design professionals <em>before</em> it was acquired by Google. It was developed by a company called Green Building Studio. Demeter was one of our partners and they developed the plug-in for Google SketchUp that allows it to export gbXML files from SketchUp into Green Building Studio.
