ZAP Electric Car Sales On the Up and Up: ZAP, maker of one of the only readily available electric cars, says that sales of its vehicles were up to $737,000 in August, an 88 percent increase over last year. This compares to a 15.5 drop in sales for the conventional auto industry over the same period – ZAP.
