Did anyone else catch this CTIA ad last night during the Democratic National Convention? It sure plays the harmonious tone like a pharmaceutical commercial and oversimplifies the wireless industry with broad strokes, but it

  1. CTIA is first and foremost a lobbyist for the wireless carriers… part of their job is to tell the public how wonderful their clients have been and will be… that they are good citizens. So in the respect they are doing their job for their membership. Not much different that the feel good commercials from the energy industry.

    As far as the commercial doing its job I believe the public may get a little confused about who is behind it, perhaps CTIA is attempting to brand themselves a bit with consumers.
