I’ve been using mobile broadband for the past 7 years, since the days of Ricochet. I figure if having a mobile data card can save you or your employee 1 hour of time per month it’s worth the $60 or so per month.

They’re more secure than general wifi and you end up saving money on hotel wifi if you travel a lot.

The only problem with using this for access at home is that most providers have a 5GB limit per month.

I think any company that has workers who travel on business would be stupid not to buy them each one of these. It’s like the BlackBerry always-on productivity boost times ten. Plus, no more relying on conference Wi-Fi ever again.
