Hi Aliza
I would suggest you to take a look at PlanningForce's PM tool at http://www.planningforce.com/ . As I settled on it after much research. It sure did satisfy all our requirements.

Happy Holidays !!!

Clarizen is one of the tools that represent a different concept of project management. Wrike also belongs to this category. Basecamp was designed for small designers' team, tools like Wrike target companies. With the price starting from $3.99 for professional version and reaching the maximum at $15 for the enterprise version, Wrike is a cost-effective solution for companies, who want to improve and simplify project management processes.

We've been looking for a tool too and there are way to many choices out there and not enough time to check them all. We are going with a new one called OnePlace (info.oneplacehome.com/) as they were local and looked like they'd fit our needs.

Thanks Aliza for a great overview of Clarizen. Just wanted to highlight the fact that not every Clarizen user in the organization requires a paid license. Users who are reporting their tasks' progress via email don't need to pay a dime. With this in mind, prospective organizations need to decide how many of their users actually need to sign in (i.e paid license) and based on that do the calculations.
Regardless, Basecamp will always be cheaper but...you get what you pay for. We are seeing a constant flow of new customers turning away from Basecamp as it simply does not scale for core project management needs.

So I see you usually refer back to basecamp for your project managment program of choice, but with all the ones you have reviewed so far. 5PM seems to be the one which has the smoothest UI (though maybe lacking some of the bells and whistles that the others have), and some of the best prices for smaller teams.
