		<description><![CDATA[You should care - if AMD disappears as a viable competitor, Intel&#039;s actions will revert back to the &#039;90s (I can still remember back when AMD wasn&#039;t a significant competitor).  You&#039;d get innovation and price cuts according to Intel&#039;s schedule, with lots of stupid (well, smartly designed to increase profit) market segmentation.

But then again, PC&#039;s don&#039;t matter so much now.]]></description>
