Arne Hess of the::unwired is one busy boy with his hands on four of the hottest new Windows Mobile phones.  He is conducting an evaluation and comparison of the HTC Touch Diamond, HTC Touch Pro, Sony Xperia X1 and the Samsung Omnia and it is cool to watch this comparison unfold.  Today he has a unique comparison of the camera quality of the four phones conducted with lots of photos to compare.  The results are surprising so have a look and see what Arne has found.

  1. They all seem decent enough for photos on the go. What I really want is decent video quality in a Windows Mobile Device. None of this QVGA nonsense, I mean at least 640×480 30fps quality.

The phones are certainly powerful enough to process the video.

  2. extremely important for the modern day perv-on-the-go. we all know how important it is to have nice clear pics of those subway upskirts & teen girls at the mall ;)

I’d like to know how they compare to Nokia phones. Image and video wise.
