As web workers, we’re utterly tied to the internet. But it’s becoming increasingly clear that the infrastructure that the internet is built upon is reaching its limits. Whether it’s the move of applications to Amazon S3 and Google AppEngine, or the attempts of carriers to limit bandwidth to keep their networks unclogged, people are exploring ways to make the internet work better as the online economy continues to boom.
That’s the topic of Structure08 – a one-day conference being organized and hosted by our parent blog GigaOM.
