They’re more of an e-commerce play, but Cooking.com has been trying to glom onto the whole content, social networking tip as well… the food-focused marketplace has raised $13 million in a second round led by Azure Capital Partners, which includes venture debt from Orix Venture Finance. The company had announced $7 million in venture debt back in January. In addition to its own site, the Santa Monica-based company powers third party food sties like FoodNetworkStore.com.
