ITV: ITV’s (LSE: ITV) odd ITVLocal.com offering is doing data partnerships with two other sites in a desperate attempt to hit its target of £150 million online revenue by 2010. It will offer a rebadged version of ThinkProperty.com’s property search as well as another with bill switching site uSwitch, a deal that will give it commission for every searcher that switches their utility provider through the service. Commercial director Craig Nayman told MW ITVLocal.com is going for the faltering local advertising market, forecasting 2008 revenue of £7 million against the £1 million from last year’s set-up year.

GCap: Global Radio’s new plaything is to build its own recruitment web network after realising its co-branding partnership with CareerBuilder was “weak”. Much like ITV and many other media operators, it’s also planning motoring, property and personal classified sites by 2009. When everyone’s doing it, what could set GCap apart? Regional director Mark Lee (via MediaWeek) reckons: “By moving their money online, advertisers are spending less money, so there is more freed up for radio.
