Capzles, a new company enabling for sharing and combining media (read: a glorified photo slideshow), has closed its first round of funding. Neither the dollar amount nor the investors were disclosed. The company pitches itself as a service for telling stories online, though it’s similar to a lot of multi-media/slideshow services that have sprung up. Stuff like videos, photos and audio can be brought together and turned into a sharable widget. LA-based Capzles also announced its advisory board members, which include Technorati CEO Richard Jalichandra. Release.
