Tyroo has launched a gaming channel that includes inventory from the likes of Miniclip, Ultimatearcade and Cheatcodes.com among others. It proposes to target four million unique users belonging to an age group of 13-25 and high spending power. No mention of Yahoo India’s gaming vertical being part of the network inspite of having recently acquired between 35-50% in Tyroo Media, the holding company of Tyroo’s ad network. The release doesn’t state if the inventory deal is exclusive or what kind of inventory Tyroo will be selling (flash game overlays? banner ads?). Regardless, its refreshing to see differential inventory being added to a crowded ad network space including the likes of Komli, Ibibo’s Adwinks and Interactive Avenues Ad Magnet amongst several others.
