It's just one person's perspective on an aspect of work-life balance -- relationships -- and he happens to be a man. One could sub in boyfriend wherever he says girlfriend, but this is Larry's piece so I left it in his voice. I'd welcome a woman's perspective on how to handle relationships as a founder, too (can be a critical part of founding well). Especially if your views are different.
