StyleFeeder Fed $2M

Social shopping site StyleFeeder has bagged $2 million in its first round of institutional funding from Highland Capital Partners and Schooner Capital. The Cambridge, Mass.-based company, which recently morphed into a full-fledged site (and maybe business?) from a widget has a full-fledged site, a Facebook application and a widget, offers recommendations about clothes, gadgets and home goods. StyleFeeder says it will use the funding to snag users and employees.

Stylefeeder is addictive because it’s useful, and it has gotten more useful over time. I look forward to seeing it grow - I can’t imagine shopping without it.

you guys gotto be kidding .. its a confused site .. a fusion of shopping and social networking will never work.. you have to click a million times to reach to a product .. normal deal sites are better than this .. there goes another $2 million in drain .. i m thinking of moving to west coast .. looks like VC’s there have a tonn of extra money to waste ..
