Hi Om:

What words of advice or warning would you have listened to BEFORE your heart attack? If you were to choose words of advice or warning that you'd have heeded yourself, re "unhealthy eating habits, lack of exercise and vices such as smoking" what would they have been?

If there are such words, maybe we can put them out there so it doesn't take a big wake up call to shock someone into action along these lines...

Watch the portion size in saturated fat laden Indian food. Its the number one cause for heart problems. Sure Indian food is the tastiest among ethnic food but it is a silent killer.

The number of by-pass surgeries performed by Indian doctors in India is staggering. Heart disease is a epidemic in India.

Eat well, rest well, exercise. Delegate and learn to say NO to non-essentials. Life will be peaceful and balanced.

Make this the top priority in 2008.

OM!

Just think, many people live a long time after their first heart attack, if they make lifestyle changes as you have mentioned that you are doing.

Best Wishes for your Health!

Welcome back Om. Great to have you back. No offense to the rest of your team - they've done a great job in your absence, but it hasn't been the same without you.
Take it easy. We certainly hope you continue to make progress with your health.
Cheers Om!
