CNET (NSDQ: CNET) Networks, in the middle of a fight to control its board, has signed severance packages with several of its seniors execs, though that excludes CEO and CFO. Among the execs who signed the agreement include Joseph Gillespie, EVP, CNET business unit, among others. These agreements have a three-year initital term, and includes compensation in case of change of control of the company (meaning if the consortium led by Jana Partners succeeds in its bid). Other senior executives were not identified. More details in the filing.
Late last week the company adopted a poison pill provision.
