		<description>&lt;p&gt;Cable stocks have under performed the market for sometime now. I doubt they will be able to raise prices if the economy tanks. Recession proof? I doubt it. As for cell phone companies. No one is turning the thing off if GDP goes negative. So yes to them being recession proof in regards to their current users. Their growth of new users will surely fall as the number of new jobs will shrink. No money..No new phone.&lt;/p&gt;
