This week Om sits down with with Dan Farber, of ZDNet, Rafe Needleman, of CNET’s Webware, and Earth2Tech Editor, Katie Fehrenbacher, to talk about the most important technology trends for 2008. There is much to consider here, founders, in terms of your own business plans or new strategies for the year ahead.

A few hints:
Rafe: “the creation of hybrid apps… not really Web 2.o, but not really pure software applications.
(Think Google Gear, a webapp that can go offline; Microsoft brings its capabilities online).

Om breaks this down: “so there are two big trends: collaberation and hybrid apps…”

Dan: “we’ll go from the data web to the people web…”

Dan explains “The question is how do you leverage [the] people in your company [to] get more our of your IT dollar spend?’” (Answer: Social networking tools.)

Om: So this as the potential comeback of the enterprise!?…

They gang also discusses cloud computing and Google. Check it out the show:
