		<description>&lt;p&gt;i think reason for increase is access to media on You Tube . user may like to watch the video clip again and again  but it will cost him Bandwidth if he do it on web so it makes sense for them to download video on disk .
www.keepvid.com is doing exactly that&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;another interesting startup is ConvertTube.com , it let you extract audio from  YouTube video without downloading the flv file . though it has some limitation on number of conversion allowed [1 convesion / 10 minute ]  but it works cool.&lt;/p&gt;
