I had the pleasure of attending the Winnie Awards down in L.A. this past weekend. The show, created by Irina Slutsky of Geek Entertainment TV, celebrated vlogging, and in true DIY fashion guests brought their own trophies and made their own awards.

The Winnies were a blast (though the open bar with a vodka sponsor should probably take some credit for that). I got the chance to speak with a ton of people, here are just a few of the video highlights.

  1. It was a blast. Irina, Lan Bui, Vu Bui and Bonny Pierzina did a fantastic job pulling the event together and it was nice seeing you Chris as well .

    We have a fun little community coming together. Hopefully everyone will start making money soon.

    Please come to Hollywood more often.

  3. The Awards portion was just the right length, casual-ness, and format for the vlogger set. Many thanks to Irina and crew for putting together a great show and party!

    Nice meeting you there, Chris. You represented NewTeeVee well, especially after a few “vlogger” drinks. jk. :)
