Eh. I did say you were better than the others…skirting the razor’s edge (see middle of my spew).

And I AM looking for an informed opinion…but worry I’m not getting one, because:

Reflect on your site — it is a business. It has all the ads. It has a paid team. It has a slew of sister sites. Therefore, how can the reader know for sure that you are not also pandering to PR firms or advertisers?

I like Uncov, not because he’s always spot-on (he’s not, imo – and I say so…neither am I, course), but because he takes in no $. Once he caves to the $, he also looses credibility.

I take in $ (ha! right…) from random yahoo ads…no specific clients [http://gigaom.com/advertise/]…ie. no one to offend or keep on my good side.

Don’t change your business. Just don’t expect me (or others like me – Scott seems to comprehend what I am frustrated with) to completely believe opinions posted. Such is life.
