[...] Stacey Higginbotham, Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at 5:00 PM PT Comments (0) A recent report from ABI Research highlights the rise of mobile Linux, estimating that 23 percent of the world’s smartphones will have a Linux operating system by 2013. It appears that much of that growth will come at the expense of Nokia’s Symbian, and that LiMo and Android will be the main beneficiaries. What the report doesn’t note is that last year ABI predicted that 31 percent of smartphones will have Linux by 2012. [...]

It's 2008 already, anybody knows when this does the Google phone will come out in the market? I would really want to try this out since its made by Google. :)

Also, I am not that super techy when it comes to phone OS like symbian or this new technology linux, what could be the edge of the Linux based mobile phones than any other mobile OS?

Hi,
I was looking for more information on Linux phones.
If anybody could share the information on how different the Linux phones from Windows mobile phones, it would be of great help.
I'm exploring on Linux mobile handsets and interested to work on the same.
