btw, to be accurate, what i said was: "this MAY be the last class you ever take..."

while that might be a bit optimistic / enthusiastic, it's possible a few folks may take that route. probably not a majority decision tho.

I think this says more about Stanford than anything else. The FB platform has been open < 6 months and Stanford already has this class put together. I love when innovation wins over bureaucracy.

“This will be the last class you ever take.”

That would have sent chills down my back had I been sitting in that class.

I thought that universities were supposed to teach timeless concepts and theory. Social networks are a fad people! Facebook will be a dead horse in 5 years.

You’re definitely right – it looks like we’ll get to take our lessons/insights from this class on FB platform and expand to OpenSocial for next quarter’s class!

This is really exciting stuff, and we’re in the right place to start learning about/understanding it, from the inside out.
