Bebo’s London-based international president Joanna Shields yesterday fronted the announcement her company was joining Google’s (NSDQ: GOOG) new OpenSocial API alliance, a common programming model using which sites will be able to build social applications – but Bebo has more up its sleeves. The same announcement says: “Bebo is scheduled to make a further platform announcement on November 13, 2007.” The company has scheduled a press event for that day at Bafta’s headquarters.
