The Homeland Security program we mentioned earlier today has been confirmed by Tabletkiosk to indeed be using their Slate PCs for the Critical Infrastructure Inspection Management System that was developed by the MD state police along with John Hopkins University’s Applied Physics Laboratory and the department of Homeland Security.  You can find more information about this project in an article by the Baltimore Sun.

In addition to this new information Tabletkiosk also pointed out that the TV show CSI NY has the character played by Gary Sinese using one of the Slate PCs and an eo TufTab and they’ve already appeared on several episodes with more on the way.  Kudos to Tabletkiosk for getting their gear in the hands of those that matter, Homeland Security and CSI NY.  :)
