You can't judge effectiveness if you don't know how you spend your time. I do find the % of time for mentoring / team development a tad light. Here's how I target my time: 1/3 - People: Hiring, developing 1/3 - Customers: needs, issues, closing, nurturing, etc. 1/3 - back office / ops (i.e. everything else).
