Conference Week: Web 2.0, Widget Summit, Mobile 2.0, Pop!Tech

This could turn out to be one of the busiest weeks on the conference circuit. Here are three conferences that I plan to attend.

* Mobile 2.0, October 15: where mobile applications are going?
* Niall Kennedy’s Widget Summit 2007, October 15-16: making sense of the widget economy. (Great line up.)
* Web 2.0 Summit, October 17-19: where it all started. I am moderating a panel on online video at the event and will be in the general vicinity for most of the time, in case you want to say hello.
* API Conference, October 15: Its all about the APIs

One event I would like to attend, but won’t be able to is Pop!Tech (October 17-20, 2007). The good news is that they are streaming it live on the web. You can sign-up here to watch it.

I also wanted to take a minute to point out that putting a conference is a lot of work, and I have a lot of admiration for folks who are organizing these four events. I say that from a personal experience, it is a stressful and often an impossible juggling act. Good luck guys!

And you’re missing the Symbian Show that starts tomorrow in London, Telco 2.0 also in London and IP Expo, also in London.

I actually thought I would have some time to see London this week :-(
