I love it. As the resident “suit” in each of my last 4 startups, I can relate. My engineering colleagues have learned to appreciate fine tailoring even though they’d never be caught dead in it. Next step is to introduce them to the fedora.

All startups aspire to be “real” business when they grow up. So, don’t worry about your lack of engineering pedigree. In this early stage, best thing you can do is make sure you really understand your target customers’ needs and make sure your message to prospective customers, investors, employees, etc is crisp and compelling.

If this foldier helps me sort out my folders, my files, in general, my content, which is quite literally OUT OF CONTROL, I’m gonna buy a case of it!
Really, between my two pc, one laptop, hard and internet backups, flickr, picasa , snapfish (can’t remember what I used before that…), my RSS feeds, bookmarks, favorites, IFilm, Metacafe, YouTube, YouNameIt, I’m almost longing for the a piece of equipment that I used growing up in France: the “Ordinateur” (note that in France we didn’t use to compute, we simply “sorted out”…).
Quite frankly, anything that can “Find – Allow to Contribute – Relate” (or better: Aggregate) something, nowadays, will be a slam dunk.
Too many digital packrats like me out there!
