NBC’s “I Ran” Copyright Problem

NBC, the media giant whose executives have been publicly bemoaning copyright theft and illegal downloads, is finding itself in the crosshairs. It recently had to remove the “I Ran So Far” video (which mocked comments made by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s during his recent NY trip) made by Andy Samberg because it included “uncleared” music samples from Aphex Twin. The New York Post is making a big stink about this today, but as Jossip points out, NewTeeVee had the story last week.
