  1. Congrats to Imaginova on the Newsarama purchase. Theirs may be considered "the geek audience," but it's a highly valuable enthusiast audience, which, in general, is the group that's continued to support the remaining profitable b2b media brands…

    The high end of the Newsarama audience spends many thousands of dollars a year on comics, graphic novels, related apparel, movie tickets, dvds, collectibles, trade show tickets and purchases, travel… they are devoted to their interests and willing to back it up with cash.

    Just providing added resources to Newsarama should prove lucrative to Imaginova, even w/o the synergies I figure they expect to mine among their other subscriber/customer audiences…
