ADBE, at about $26b in market cap, has made solid software development products, which were MSFT's forte.</p> <p>With the clouds over Silverlight having no lining at all, and the inevitability of hosted solutions, this acquisition will provide Microsoft the ability to dominate rich media software development tools.</p> Top on my list of tech company fantasy marriages is Microsoft merging with/acquiring Adobe.
