SAP has come up with its SaaS offering codenamed A1S as Business ByDesign. Jeff Nolan points to some great links of BBD analysis. I would like to see Giga team’s take on that.

The future of enterprise software is like asking the question “What is the future of Intranets?” in ’90s. A better question (IMHO) is to ask: What are the big problems businesses face today and what role software (if any) will play?
Enterprise Software was the answer to - How do I automate my existing business process?
The next question ought to be: Do I need set business processes? What does text-ing/Web2.0 teach us about event driven businesses? What’s the future of the enterprise? Will it look like GE/Ford or will it look like Starbucks? Can you apply Google model to a clothing retail chain? (This last one is hard to describe in a comment.)

Did you know that the future of software website is closed in Turkey? The message says:
“Access to this site has been suspended with decision of Court.” Do you have any idea why?
Thanks,
M.
