BMW, Mini To iPhone

gbmw_7282_69406.jpgNow if I had a car, it would be a Mini. And today’s news that future models of BMW and Mini were adding support for iPhone would have made me happy - it would be some justification for owning the best iPod on the planet.

The BMW Group will show off the iPhone equipped models - all MINI models, as well as the BMW 6 Series, BMW 5 Series, BMW 3 Series, BMW 1 Series and BMW X5 - at the Frankfurt Auto Show on September 13. This is part of the iPhone launch in Europe later this year.

So you plug it into the Mini and the iPhone switches to a display in the car, sort of like plans on some airlines?
