Good news for Nokia N800 owners that want something other than an Opera-based web experience: there’s a a Mozilla-based browser for the N800 with support for Flash, AJAX, RSS previews and plug-ins (which are limited at the moment).  The screen on the N800 is fantastic for a handheld browser, so it’s wonderful to see another option for the Internets on the device. Folks on the Internet Tablet Talk Forums are generally raving about the experience, so I’ll have to get this on my loaner N800 and check it out. It might be interesting to compare and contrast the browsers between the N800 and the iPhone as the screen sizes and text input methods are comparable. Thanks for the tip, Josh!

  1. “…as the screen sizes and text input methods are comparable.”
they might be comparable on the physical dimensions, but not on resolution.
i think the n800’s 800*480pixel widescreen is perfect for browsing (making for 2.5 times the iphone’s resolution)
