Em295_2Giant computer makers Dell and Gateway have a habit of telling educational instituions about secret upcoming Tablet PCs and this time it’s Gateway spilling the beans about a new Tablet PC with a 14 inch screen.  The leak comes from my daughter’s alma mater the University of South Dakota and includes some deets about the E-M295.  Sporting a 1.8 GHz Core 2 Duo processor, 2 GB of RAM, a DVD burner, and all the connectors and card readers you could want.  The M295 can be had (at the USD) for just $1,700.

  1. USD us my Alma Mater as well. Looks like good specs on this machine. I need a new Tablet but cannot decide if I want to wait and see what the Dell machine looks like.

  2. Any news as to whether this is a wacom penabled or finepoint digitizer?
