Remember those registry tweaks we used to address some Vista disk issues? You don’t have to delve into the dungeon of the registry to change those and many other settings any longer: give Vispa a try for free. This freeware offers the ‘disable prefetch’ tweak and so many others in an easy-to-use GUI. There’s no installation file; you simply run the executable, but that’s about as dangerous as it gets. Regardless of the ease of use, I’d strongly recommend you backup your current registry before using Vispa; the app does provide a restore option for the changes that it makes, but you’ll want to start with a reg backup just to be save. Thanks for the tip Bob!

  1. Hello Dears

Vispa is just “a copy” of XP Antispy with no explaination for actions. Try the original from 2003 ! Many languages available !
