Over at NewTeeVee, we sometimes delve into the personalities of online video, deviating from all this detailed “infrastructure” and “carriers” discourse you’re used to at GigaOM. Over the last couple days we’ve had a couple of interesting profiles of successful online video creators that I thought you might find interesting.

Today, Craig Rubens writes about Kevin “Nalts” Nalty, a YouTube phenomenon who claims, “I got into this trying to make money and stumbled into the community aspect.”

Yesterday, Jackson West had a nice piece on classically trained Casimir Nozkowski, another YouTube star, who tells us “I really do want to be a feature filmmaker, but more importantly, I want to be a prolific filmmaker.”
