Evernote_1I remember last summer when EverNote announced that their software would be pre-loaded on Lexar USB drives; if you want to add a portable version of this popular application to a USB drive you already own, you can purchase one for $19.95. EverNote Portable 2.0 is nearly the functional equivalent of the free basic EverNote version, but provides the ability to use the app on any PC with a USB port.

Since the portable version leaves no trace behind and therefore doesn’t use the Windows registry, there are a few minor functions that didn’t port over; the company has the short list on the product page. None of these are likely deal-breakers and while you could likely install the standard free version on a USB drive, the portable version is optimized for mobility.

  1. Hi Folks,

I am searching for a software solution that fit’s to my mobile gadgets:
    I owe a Lenovo x60 Tablet and a Dell Axim X30(624MHz).

I am searching for a tool to sync hand written notes between this Vista Tablet and my Windows 2003 Second Edition PDA.

Do you have an idea which software could handle that?
    You would really help me!

    Greets from Germany!
